Eleventh Doctor Velvet Waistcoat Analysis

Continuing our look at Eleven’s snazzy waistcoats, in this installment we’ll be examining the velvet waistcoat that was first introduced with his “Snowmen” costume.

He would continue to wear the velvet waistcoat for subsequent episodes, shorts, and other appearances, and later we’ll take a close look at the rest of the “Snowmen” costume ensemble.

In this analysis, we’ll examine the velvet waistcoat itself and discuss some of the specific elements of its design, as well as how it varied over its appearances.

Did you know that like his “scales” waistcoat, this waistcoat also had two different kinds of buttons? Or that he wore this waistcoat with two different costume ensembles?

This updated analysis is also available as a free PDF download.

I hope you enjoy the read!
